Processing Time for Student Visas:

A Turkey student visa application is typically processed in 15 working days. However, processing times differ between nations. Therefore, the country from which you are applying will inform you how long the process will take. In some nations, applicants can expect getting a reply within three days.

Documents required for Student Visa:

  • A valid passport
  • Student visa application form
  • Passport size biometric photos
  • Travel insurance
  • Flight booking proof

  • Receipt of fees paid
  • Scan copy of past diplomas, transcript

Working & Studying in Turkey as an International Student:

Students with Turkish student visas are not allowed to work there. However, they can work if they receive a government-issued Work Permit for Students. Since there is a significant language barrier, finding a part-time job in Turkey can be difficult. People who can speak and understand Turkish well are given jobs by employers. In comparison to the USA, Canada, and other European nations, the unemployment rates for the available jobs are extremely low. To find a good part-time job as a student, extensive research and the right contacts are needed.

Any international student who has successfully finished their studies at an accredited Turkish university is eligible to apply for a work permit. The International Labor Policy Advisory Board receives the application and evaluates it before making a decision. However, the students must keep in mind that this application must be submitted within a year of graduation.
